Terms of use

1. The service

MEDOX is a digital platform that connects dog owners, canine service providers and shelters. The service is free for owners and shelters, and business features are currently free of charge too (see section 3).

2. Account and responsibility

By registering, you undertake to provide accurate information and to be responsible for the security of your account. You will use the platform lawfully and with respect for the rights of others.

The person who uploads a lost/found report or other content is responsible for its authenticity.

3. Business profiles, price lists and products

Business (service provider) features are currently free of charge. Businesses can create a profile at no cost (name, contact details, photos, description, opening hours and website, appearing in search and on the map), list their services with a price list, and list their products in the MEDOX shop.

MEDOX may introduce paid features in the future. We will announce them in advance, and nobody will be charged without explicitly subscribing to them.

Profiles go live after registration without prior checking. Businesses we have checked may carry a “Verified” badge. We may remove false, misleading or unlawful profiles, services or products. Every business is responsible for the accuracy of its details, prices and products.

In the shop, the sale takes place between the business (seller) and the customer, on the business's own platform; payment and the fulfilment of orders take place between them, and MEDOX charges no commission (0%). In the case of donations, MEDOX does not handle any transfer of money — support is given on the shelter's own page.

4. Content

The person who uploads content is responsible for it. We reserve the right to remove content that breaches the rules.

5. Limitation of liability

MEDOX is an intermediary platform. Health-related content (e.g. the AI symptom assistant) is for information purposes only and does not replace a veterinary examination. We accept no liability for matters arising from the relationship between service providers and users.

6. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will inform you of any significant changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
